Turkey Soup Day

Our Bishop family tradition is to always get together on a Saturday after thanksgiving for turnkey soup and eclairs.  It's a day that is more special to me than Thanksgiving itself. We eat, we decorate the tree, and it normally also includes a complete arsenal of nerf guns courtesy of my brother.

Mike and I are locked in the room listening to the kids rampaging through the house. I looked at him and said "What did you FEED them?!" ... blank stare... "Fun Dip." ugh... I'm letting them burn it off. You should hear my house right now!!! LOL

We spent thanksgiving at the cabin that Mikes parents rent in Ronald, Wa.  We love the home.  It's the perfect size to accommodate us all and yet we all have our own area to retreat from the occasional chaos.  Cousin enjoy playing video games, bubble baths, snowball fights, 

and normally some type of gingerbread decorating.

Danissa turns 11!

This year we wanted to let the girls have a great time and go all girl!!! SO we threw a sleepover complete with our very own photobooth (by the Wenatchee Photobooth Company) and unlimited photo printing.  The girls went nuts with the props! I was told we actually broke a record for most photos in a 45 minute time frame! ;)

These are Danissas classmates.  They are a close knit group.

Reformation Day

This year the theme for Reformation Day was "Pilgrims Progress" after the book with this title.  The kids were able to pull of some pretty authentic costumes and they had a blast, as always!

Recital

Danissa had her piano recital today at Colonial Vista.  It's one of her 

events she does as community service as a piano group.

They all perform and dress up to represent the piece they are performing.
